Wyndo Privacy Policy
Last updated March 26, 2026
Wyndo helps you make weather timing decisions. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account information such as your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Preference data such as units, activity thresholds, saved locations, and saved routines.
- Location data that you explicitly choose or allow us to read from your browser.
- Operational telemetry such as request logs, rate-limit signals, and product analytics.
- Feedback that you choose to send us through the site.
How we use it
- To generate weather-informed decisions for your selected location.
- To save your preferences, routines, and account settings.
- To send transactional emails such as verification, password reset, and optional reminders.
- To monitor product performance, reliability, and launch-quality user flows.
- To investigate abuse, excessive automated traffic, and product issues.
Cookies and local storage
Wyndo uses cookies and browser storage for sessions, guest preferences, one guest location, and saved routines. These help the site remember your settings and keep authenticated sessions working across pages.
Analytics and observability
We use Datadog for browser analytics, backend performance monitoring, and synthetic uptime checks. Browser telemetry is configured to avoid shipping Ask query strings and location query parameters in URLs.
Third-party providers
Weather and infrastructure services may be provided by third parties such as OpenWeatherMap, Open-Meteo, the National Weather Service, Railway, Cloudflare, Datadog, Anthropic, and Resend.
